Serena is a half demon and god. Her parents raised Serena until they were killed. When she was young, she watched them die and watched the man walk from their bodies. She was giving two items from her mother, a necklace.. In addition her fathers sword. When she was looking for a new home, she was attacked and thrown over a cliff. Slamming her head on rock on the way down to the rushing river blow, she was found on the sore line. A man who was her father best friend raised her until he knew he was not able to be teach her anything more. He taught her everything. Later she was a general, assassin, queen, and a mother (that is much, much later). (this was a fic i made ALONG time ago so she has been my main char the longest time)
